Participating by telephone from Arkansas City, Kansas, Mr. Abrams spoke about the Dover case decision. A federal judge ruled on December 20 that intelligent design could not be mentioned in biology classes in a Pennsylvania public school district. The Kansas board of education voted earlier in November to change the state’s curriculum, recommending that schools explore the theory of intelligent design. Abrams voted in favor of the change.
Telephone lines were open for viewer comments on news of the day. Callers discussed the Dover case decision and the teaching of intelligent design.
